I chose to work on the movie "American Beauty" because it's a very dramatic movie. In this movie, it disclosed the ugliness of betrayal, and reflected social reality both sarcastically and realistically. The story of “American Beauty” is a little complex. It is a movie about a man who was sick of his boring and repetitive life. He didn't want to be an anxious social climber anymore. Thus, he quit his job to become a worker in McDonalds. Meanwhile, he fantasized about her daughter's best friend. He did exercise every day and didn’t care about his wife. His wife was suffering a crisis in her career, and she betrayed her husband to date another man. His daughter was dating the neighborhood boy, a strange boy from a dysfunctional family. On this background developed many dramatic stories. I really loved the part when his daughter's boyfriend displayed his video about a dancing bag. He said many words about the cruelty and beauty of a vanishing life. In fact, the movie is special because the story is sophisticated. It displayed the desperation of adults’ world. Therefore, don't delay; go watch the movie. You really need to put "American Beauty" on your movie list because it will challenge and enrich your imagination.
