pop culture is interesting, it had influences me recently things, people, place, and event what is popular. Pop culture influence my interest of day life. I had have changed myself after i came to America. when i was in China, i did not like to go to school learned something. i just like to play games with friends and we did not like to follow the new things and singers. but i had came to US, everything are change. i did not know about what is pop culture mean before, i had take this class for this semester, so learned it and knew a lot of pop culture. i had have a favorite singer, she's name is BOA, she is from korea. she had a lot of songs, almost all the songs i like, but has one song is very special, i like it so much, the song's name is Every heart. recently, the movies are very popular, many people are like to watch the movies, there are influence peoples' felling. some people watch the movies and want to chat with his/her friends. cell phone is very important in my life, it can take pictures, listen music, make video, send message, play games, and talk to friends. so cell phone is very important in my life. i had chosen (bring them back) these three work mean is stop to fire, people want peace and their own city.

Reaction to my project

I enjoyed my time to create my blog related with pop culture. During created my blog, I had chance to review what I learned in this semester so that I consolidated my learning. Regarding my pop culture blog, I had no idea how much time I put into my blog. For me, blogging is an interesting thing because I enjoy to decorate it and to write down my feeling about everything I touch. Comparing with email, text and other forms of communication, I think blog seems like an open door for everyone to entrance your world.

In fact, blogging has been become a popular thing nowadays. In addition, there are different kinds of blog related with different theme for people to share their interest and hobby. Internet gives us another space to relax ourselves from reality life. I touched blog before several years. Also, I prefer to write down my diary in my private blog. In my own experience, reading other’s blog is a way for me to know more my friends and to share our happiness even we are not together.

Reaction to The Project- Ketty

I spent about four to five days in completing this blog. It’s an exciting experience for me to create and write blogs. I enjoyed it because with blogging, we shared our thoughts, communicated our comments and enhanced our relationship. I also like reading others blogs. Form others blogs, I can vary my knowledge because we have different points of view.

Different from emailing or texting, blogging is more aggressive. People write blogs just because they are interest in writing and expressing their thoughts. Compare to blogging, emailing is private and interactive. I have had my own personal blog for a long time. I record my life every day in my blog, but now I am not interested in blogging because I found it’s different from what I thought at first when I published it. Maybe I will only continue to share some trips or some discussion with my friends in future.

I have afforded almost three days to to finish this blog. Actually, I do not like blogging because first i do not like writing; and also I do not want my secrets being spread out everlastingly. However, I am quite interested in reading other's blog because I would like to understand my friends' recent lives and their emotion. Emailing, texting, or other forms of communications are the ways telling something to one's friends directly; however, blogging is a expression, which is to express something in one's mind but no one to talk with, or one who does not want to talk with people directly. I have created more than three blogs before, but none of them is permanent.

In this project I almost spent whole day to finish my blog. I think the blog is a good way to communicate to other. This is my first personal blogging. I very like blogging because it can let other people share your life and your experience. And people could show some things they feel interesting or some things new. I like to read other people’s blogs, also l like to read people who had comments. I think the email and the texting are a good way to communicate to each other, but the blogging is very different to email and the texting because if people use the email or texting they can’t share to everyone, and sometimes people don’t want to talk to other people they just want to memory of that their emotion, and to share own. I think I will create my own personal blog that I can share my life to other people, and it can record all my emotion.

I did not spend much time on this project because most of them are what we have done in this semester. I just need to think back what I have done before. I liked blogging because blogging can share my thoughts and what happened around me for me friends. I do not need to send email for my each friend and text to them. I just need to do once time to post my essays or pictures on my blog. Then all of my friends can see them. It is very easy to use and I would miss any one what I want them know what happen with me. Also, I liked reading other’s blogs. They can let me know what I never hear and what I did not know. Sometime, it also can let me learn other countries’ culture through others’ blogs.

this project didn't take too much of my time, because basically it was a summary of what we did through the semester and it was much easier than other projects. it was actually my first time blogging. it was fun and exciting and i liked but the part of reading other people's blog is little boring ,especially you specifically said that we must read 15 blogs and leave some comments. in my opinion this is not helpful because even if we don't have any comment, we have to say something. blogging is different with email because basically you are sharing your opinion or information with others even with people you might even don't know. email is a more private way of communication that you only have with people you know, your friend, parents and ...

I spent about 2 days to finish my blog. I like blogging a lot because I it is a good way to communicate with people who are not our very close friends. We don't have to afraid other peoples' opinion or ideas here, and we can write everything if we want to. Also I like to reading other's blogs, even though I meet those people every day, there are always something new for me. I can know my friend or other people in a new way. Blogging is very different from emailing, texting or other forms of communication. I think it is more formal then texting and it is less formal than emailing. You can only put a few words on your blogs or you can put 100 pages letter on it, it all depends on your own. I created my own personal blog about 5 years ago, although I have not upgrade that blog anymore now, I still reading other's blogs, and I create a new blog of my pop culture class. Blogging is one of the best ways to connect with other people, you can share you photo, music or video here, and you can say something that you are shy to say in real life. If you don't have a blog, try to create one.

In this modern society, more and more people used blog to show how they live their life. During this activity, I also used blog to show how much I learned about pop culture and how I thought about pop culture in this semester. I spent about three hours in creating this blog. I didn’t think it was hard for me because I had done this kind of blog before. I think blogging can help people show their life and express their idea to everyone. I liked blogging, and I also liked read other’s blog. It was one of ways to understand people’s heart. Blogging would show people’s ideas in words and pictures. I never use the blog when i was in China. But, today I have a chance to creat a blog about this Popular Culture class, I very enjoyed this process. I spent 2 days to completed my blog and I tried my best effort to write some complete paragraphs to show what i learned and did in this course. I like blogging because i think it different from emailing, texting, or other forms of communication. How is different? As we know, we usually use the email and text message to convey some information, but, I think it just one kind of the communication. However, Blog is a special website that can show what is your own personal, you can write down whatever you want and also can upload videos, images and the links. Someone can comment your blog which should be a good way to raise your writing skill or to let you know how to make your blog better in different ways. I would like to creat my own personal blog but not really only for fun, I think we can get more information about someone or make more freinds through the blog. I think my blog is not too bad though this is my first time to create a blog, and i will use it more and more in the future for my study.

This blog is my first time do it in American. When I have a English personal blogging, I would like to put any interesting and my fond things in my blog. Every time I make the blog I hope i can let the reader interested in my writing. I like blogging because it let me express myself and lets the world to see what I have to say. In 21 century, people's work, schools and lives can hardly be separate from technology, such as computer, cell phone, etc. Technology is really important to human being now. And I also have used computer and cell phone all the time since I graduated from high school. Overall, I believe technology is a benefit in my life because it my life because it can provide my more convenient. Technology has become a very popular topic for most people in modern times. Things like internet,cellphones and latops are everywhere.

Brithney Spear is the most of my favorite signer. Basically I listened her music to grow up. The first time I heard she sang 'Baby One More Time', I really crazy about the song. I think she is perfect in my mind because she own her good voice and good looking. I also advice you will make some notices for her. It is a really deal.

The movie is called Transformers .

The movie is basically talk about the autobots who want to get back the allspark in earth because it is important to their star. They also knew on human being that can help them find it easily and they foud the man to help them.

When I watched the moive, my heart is still exciting. The movie is ones of the best that I watched. All the scenes and caracters are perfect in the movie. Something happened in the movie is amazing. If you have not seen the movie yet, I suggest you should try to watch it immediately.

TV Show

The show is called Prison Break. The show is very popular in the world. I think many young people will like it. It is a TV series. And now it has played 4 seasons. The movie is about An engineer (Wentworth Miller) installs himself in a prison he helped design, in order to help his brother (Dominic Purcell), a death-row inmate who insists he did not commit the crime for which he has been sentenced to die and help him escape.

Pop culture

I think that I can infulenced by people. Sometimes I saw someone dressed a cool T-shirt or made a special hair-cut style, I will follow it. When I came to U.S, I improved myself a lot. Especially language, I think my English has a lot of improvement now, beacuse I can learnt people talk to English all the time. At last, When I took the pop culture course, I have learnt a lot pop culture of U.S. .

I spent about one hour created my blog; mostly I've got all the information that I wanted to show on the blog. Blogging is really need for me. It's very nice to have a place to posting something that we are willing to share. Moreover, we can read other stuffs from many different people. Therefore, we can learn more about others. Creating a blog is very fun for me; I can put myself together and ask myself what do I want to put in the blog. In facts, I know myself more from creating a blog. Kung Fu Panda

i chose to work on "kung fu panda" this movie, because it is really funny. This movie is talking about the panda want to learned kung fu . I really loved the part when the panda was learning how to play kung fu, because this part was showing the panda so cute and so funny. It can really made us smile. In fact, the movie is special because the panda is really confidence to learned kung fu. In the end, panda know how to play kung fu, and it did really well.

This is my favorite movie matrix, it is a science fiction movie.

First, matrix this movie is talk about the main actor and his

the mechanical person. If some one did not watch this movie, you

can to buy a DVD or download it to watch, it had kung fu part, human VS robot part,

and the background music was so wonderful.

Although only IQ of 70 Forrest Gump, who as a "single" to the spirit of anything As a result, encountered a lot of adventure and a lot of normal people does not have the exploits become a wealthy. This is a very meaningful film, I believe everyone will appreciate Forrest Gump's commitment to uphold and abide by the spirit. The film has always been in my mind has left a deep memory. I hope everyone who did not watched this film that you should try to watch it. The film tell us: all the people who want to teach tolerance of others and good fortune is silly.

American Beauty

I chose to work on the movie "American Beauty" because it's a very dramatic movie. In this movie, it disclosed the ugliness of betrayal, and reflected social reality both sarcastically and realistically. The story of “American Beauty” is a little complex. It is a movie about a man who was sick of his boring and repetitive life. He didn't want to be an anxious social climber anymore. Thus, he quit his job to become a worker in McDonalds. Meanwhile, he fantasized about her daughter's best friend. He did exercise every day and didn’t care about his wife. His wife was suffering a crisis in her career, and she betrayed her husband to date another man. His daughter was dating the neighborhood boy, a strange boy from a dysfunctional family. On this background developed many dramatic stories. I really loved the part when his daughter's boyfriend displayed his video about a dancing bag. He said many words about the cruelty and beauty of a vanishing life. In fact, the movie is special because the story is sophisticated. It displayed the desperation of adults’ world. Therefore, don't delay; go watch the movie. You really need to put "American Beauty" on your movie list because it will challenge and enrich your imagination.

i will say this is my most favorite movie of all time,very interesting story and brilliant acting of Russel crow makes a deep and strong connection with the audience. john nash (Russel crow)is a genius in math able to solve any problem that baffled the greatest minds.after graduating from prinston university he turns to teaching and falls in love with his student named Alicia.nash is offered to work for some organization to break soviet codes.after a while he discovers that he is suffering a serious mental problem.but his loyal and devotee wife stands next to him and help him overcome this issue and eventually he makes a revolutionary breakthrough and he earns the Nobel prize.i strongly recommend watching this movie.i was told to watch it and i did watch it two times.its one of the best movies i have ever watched.

I like this movie. I think it's a very good movie and the actors are so perfect. Although the story of the film is not the sun, but the warmth of family love thick enough to make people feel, the family of each character, though not perfect, but none of Oliver is full of love.
The family each one has their own problems and pressures. However, Olive is a little girl with a dream: winning the little miss sunshine contest. The whole family travels together to California with the goal of getting Olive to the little miss sunshine contest.
Paul Dano play Dwayne in the film. I think he is not handsome, but he has his personality and very cute..
I chose this film because It's a love story about family. The film has some dialogue very funny.

I chose to work on little Miss Sunshine movie because it's a touching and fun movie. It is a Oscars annual award movie on 2006.The movie about a special family, they are not care about each other of family, for exmaple in the movie, the little girl's brother does not like to talk, and he only want be his goal everyday, her fateher only care about his job and money, and her mother thinks take care the family is a hard work. One day, the little girl want to be a Little Miss Sunshine, then every one change of her family.I really loved the part when the little girl dancing but any one want to cut her dancing part, but her family reject it, they go to dance with the little girl. In fact, the movie is special because it is mirror on our life.I need to put Little mis Sunshinefor my list because I love the little baby fat girl. If I have this little sister at my family, I think my family will be a friendly family. At my family I just like the little girl's brother, I do not care any one at the family I alway thinking ,goal and myself and I do not like to talk to my father. On the other hand, my mother and father just like the moive's mother and father.Finally, I love this movie because it is like my family .

I want to recommend the movie of “Mr. Bean’s Holiday” to everybody because it is one of my favorite and it is a very funny movie. Mr. Bean’s Holiday is talking about the Mr.’ Bean wins the vacation to French beach’s from the church, than he takes the train to the beach. In the train he meets a boy separated with his father. End is Mr. Bean help the boy find his father. This movie is classic silent and humor comedy. If you not watch this movie yet, you should to watch it you will love it.

1. I chose this movie because it's very famous and the other important reason is I've been a Superman fan for as long as I can remember. It's a justice movie,it talking about superman returns to save people from danger after he has left 5years . He fall in love with a lady who works with him, and he would rather give up his own power to stay with his lover, however he realized that he can't do anything without the power later, even can't protect his lover. At last, he owned his power again and beat the worst guy to protect the world. I like this movie and i hope you will spend your time to watch it after read my review.

The Bourne Ultimatum

I really like the movie named The Bourne Ultimatum because it’s a good action movie. In this movie, the character who is an agent, he wanted to start his new life with his girl friend, but he lost his memory. Then, he started to fight with the gangsters because he used to be an agent that make him have a lot of skills, he helped the CIA saluted the many problems. During that time, I found his memory. I like this movie because when you watch it, there is a lot of action fighting parts in this movie, it looked cool and real, which made me excited. Moreover, this movie also show some complicated relationship of the government, it’s like the cat-and mouse connection.

You would amaze how Juno made her own decision about her child and herself. It’s a movie of the year that everybody should see.

I want to recommend a movie to you, which was the best movie in 1997, also got 14 Oscars. For this movie were spent millions dollars. The movie is “Titanic”. I think almost everybody have seen this beautiful romantic love story and also a huge tragedy. I like especially second part of “Titanic” when the ship started to sink. It is good special effects, music, actor’s play, and great cinematography. If you haven’t seen this movie, don’t wait, you should do it. Don’t you interesting why millions of people love it?

Why So Serious?Have you ever heard somebody say this before?It's from The Dark Knight. The Dark Knight is a movie about the Batman who is fighting in his war on crime.and Joker who is trying to battle with the Batman and control the world. In fact, the movie is special because it is an action and adventure movie, and there are a lot of sound and picture effects in the movie are amazing, the director and actors did a fantastic job. Also, The Dark Knight is a very famous movie when we watched the part 1, the Batman is our real life's super hero. So, don't delay, you really need to put The Dark Knight on your movie list because it is an interesting and powerful action movie. Even though the movie is about 2 and half hours, but you will feel you haven't seen enough, it can be longer and longer.

Why I recommend this movie because is a very funny movie,Iam very interesting in it. It is one of my favorite movie.The story about a rat Remy have a dream who want to be a French chef because he love delicious food .everyone can cook in the life. Every part is very funny,but at fact,i can not agree rat can cook. this movie is very humor. This movie created a humorous film fill with many scenes of action , adventure and wonderful sesation.So do not delay,you really need to put on your movie list because it is really worth you to watch.

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is a book that I read, and also watched the movie. It's a great movie you should really watch and enjoy.

After a disastrous summer with the Dursleys, including a fight with the Dementors, Harry is mad and angry about his friends when he returns to Hogwart. After the return of Lord Voldemort and no one believes Harry, he starts his fifth year sadly. When the new Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher, Professor Dolores Umbridge refuses to teach them defensive spells, who refuses to admit what Harry says about the Dark Lord return, Harry with Ron and Hermione, start up the D.A, Dumbledore's Army to battle evil forces and prepare the young witches and wizards for the extraordinary journey that lies ahead... . If you want to know what happen to him and the DA about defeating the dark art I really recommend you to watch the movie, but also read the book.

I reccomend you to see this movie. Quarantine is a great movie for people who like horror movie. Movie has a lot of unexpect situation that can make you scare. Presentation of this movie is very interesting. The way that movie presented is pretending that we are watching the only evidence, which in the trailer ; polices found this evidence. For acting, Jeniffer Carpenter did great job for this movie.She made audiences feel that she really scare. Not only Jennifer Carpenter, actors who acted as zombie were so real.For me, I liked the part that camera man used his camera kill the zombie.It's scared and funny at the same time, how cool!.

KungFu Panda

I suggest everyone to watch movie”KongFU Panda”. It is a movie about a very fat Panda go though many problems and finally become a dragon warrior. I really loved the part when this Panda learn KungFu from his master, he make a lot of funny things. The movie has a very vivid plot, all characters are cute, and the design is very clear. Each role of the movie contains its own personal character. One special of this movie is voice. The actors do a very excellent gob with its voice. You should come to watch it and spend your time with this funny panda.

The Water Horese: Legend of Deep

The Water Horse is a heart-warming film about a boy and a magic sea creature, which is a great movie for a family from young to elder to enjoy together. The story of this movie is very simple, but you feel comfortable and touch when you watch it. I really loved and moved when the boy do his effort to save the sea creature bravely. At the same time, the scene of this movie is beautiful and the sound is attractive. I am sure that you will love it once you watch it as like me, i am planing to watch my third time for this movie.

Ratatouille

Ratatouille is a movie about a rat how to success on cooking. Remy is a rat who lives in a little cottage and likes cooking. He believes everyone can be a cooker. Meanwhile, becoming a cooker is his dream. I really loved the part when Remy needed to cook the best food for the gourmet with his friends. It makes me very nervous in that moment. On the other hand, in this movie, the director used 3D effects to draw the story. Therefore, all of the actors and background in the movie look like real. All of them are why I recommend you to put Ratatouille on your movie list. It is funny and the background is beauty.

Shooter is a movie that is attractive to poeple who like war movies or movies are about Army. It is a depressing movie which is about a former Marine scout sniper. The most attractive part of this movie is that how the main actor uses his experiences from his Marine life and his genius to revenge to baddies. Actually, because of the theme of this movie, Shooter not only becomes a special movie, but also it excites me in some ways which are that the main actor shoots with a 100% accuracy, and his great experiences from from Marine. Therefore, do not hesitate to think about whether or not to see this. As you can see, you will be attracted by scene, actors/actresses and the theme of this movie, since you put Shooter on your movie list.

I want to show my classmates how simular polish culture and american are. My pictures show examples of polish and american products (beer, cars, boats) and cultural icons (simpsons and dawid) It seems that people everywhere like to see and to do simular things.

she's name is BOA. she is from korea and a singer. she likes recent pop dance, pop music, and she speaks korean, japanese, english, and a little mandarin. she gets a billion dollar (korean dollar) for past 5 year.

Good Eating In China

I am going to introduce some good Chinese food. The first dish is my favorite: Spicy Fish Hot Pot.












This is one is a famous Shanghaiese dish. If you go to Shanghai, remember this dish: "Xie Fen Xiao Long", or "Little Crab Buns". You could find this dish everywhere in Shanghai.










There are plenty of choices for food in China. Besides Chinese food, there are cuisines from all over the world in China, especially Asian cuisines. I was once addicted to Japanese food. It is more expensive compared with other foods, but it is worth the price.









When Korean opera became popular in China, poeple in China became familiar with Korean food. I especially enjoy Korean BBQ and stirred fired rice cake.









My deepest impression of Shanghai for the 4 years that I have lived and worked there is all the decilicious foods I have eaten. There are many restaurants from all over the world in every business district in Shanghai. Chinese food includes eight great traditions: Anhui, Cantonese, Fujian, Hunan, Jiangsu, Shandong, Sichuan, and Zhejiang. Besides Chinese food, there are many foreign cuisines in China. If you enjoy food tasting, China is the best place to be.
